Here I am, I walk along the lonely path I chose,the only one that’s not been taken.
The paradigm that I’ve been taught so far
tells me that I’m on the right track.

There comes a time in one’s life
when you’ve got to realise
that one’s looks and effort
don’t always assure results.

Far and wide, have I crossed
my quest still goes on.
I can’t believe I’ve been forsaken.
The chances left unused have drowned in an
endless sea of time passed by.

Cold thoughts soak of regret
mixed in fear and despair.
Hesitation resurge
of the path that I chose.

Here comes my chance,
I’ll prove everyone wrong
I’ll rise above you all.
I know this time
will be the turning point that
will surely change the scenario.

I walk a lonely road
but in the end I spiral, down, to where I was before.
I walk an empty road
but in the end I follow through with the path I chose.
